Paul Ferrazzani
Founder, Firearms Safety Academy

Paul Ferrazzani brings nearly four decades of firearms expertise and a lifelong commitment to safety and responsible gun ownership to the CADRE Advanced Training Program. As a founding Master CADRE instructor, he exemplifies our core philosophy that true firearms mastery begins with prevention, safety, and sound judgment.
With over 40 years of shooting experience and three decades of competitive action shooting across New England and the upper East Coast, Paul has developed an unparalleled understanding of firearms handling and safety. However, it's his 20-year dedication to firearms education that truly sets him apart. As an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, Shotgun Instructor, and Range Safety Officer, Paul has helped thousands of students develop the critical foundation of Attitude, Knowledge, and Skills necessary for responsible firearms ownership.
Paul's expertise is widely recognized beyond the training environment. As a trusted firearms safety and technical consultant, he has shared his knowledge through various media outlets, including the Discovery Channel's "Time Warp," radio interviews for Emerson College, and documentary features for both Suffolk and Tufts Universities. His ability to communicate complex safety concepts clearly and effectively has made him a sought-after expert for both media and educational institutions.
His technical proficiency extends to custom firearms building and modification for competition use, giving him unique insights into firearms mechanics and operation. This hands-on expertise enriches his instructional approach, ensuring students understand not just the how, but the why of safe firearms handling.
Beyond his firearms credentials, Paul's 20-year commitment as a Sunday school teacher demonstrates his dedication to community service and education—values that align perfectly with CADRE's mission of creating safer, more prepared communities through knowledge and training.
As a certified Massachusetts State Police instructor for LTC-007 and LTC-002 classes, Paul leads the Firearms Safety Academy in Medford, Massachusetts, where he continues to set the standard for firearms safety education. His instruction philosophy emphasizes that while proficiency with firearms is important, the ability to prevent situations where they might be needed is paramount.
*"Your safety is our first concern" isn't just a motto for Paul—it's the foundation of every course he teaches and the cornerstone of CADRE's advanced training philosophy.*’
